Having experienced the effects of childhood trauma firsthand—growing up with an undiagnosed mentally ill parent, enduring emotional abuse, neglect, parental divorce, and poverty—she understands the deep wounds these experiences can leave. Yet, despite the odds stacked against her, a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit radically transformed the course of her life.
